Genevieve has had a lifelong interest in sewing, constructing, renewing and repairing, and rediscovered knitting and crochet as an adult. Furniture restoration and upholstery have been a natural progression where old and new skills come together in the restoration of old furniture. 

The Covid pandemic has posed barriers to pursuing some of these interests but opened up opportunities to explore new types of creating and she is recently starting to experiment with cross-stitch.

She uses recycled or repurposed materials where possible. Genevieve does not call herself an artist, but aims for a unique and individual aesthetic in her creations.
