Nic’s oil paintings are known for their peculiar blend of dark humour, existential musings, and gonzo storytelling. Drawing from science, theology, folklore, and the mythos of antiheroes, Nic constructs intricately layered polyglossic worlds, steeped in both the sublime and the grotesque. In shaping these mythopoeic realms, Nic interrogates the symbiotic relationship they share with various species and ecologies, using art as a cauldron for philosophical introspection informed by a plurality of perspectives.
